The art of John Bauer

I've always known of John Bauer. I'm from Sweden, even from the same region as John Bauer was, and seeing that he is almost synonymous with trolls here, of which there are plenty, it's hard not to have heard of him. But it wasn't until I started working on the card game below, called  Bauer  that I really fell in love with his art.
